From Threat to Advantage: The AI Pivot

For many organisations, AI feels like something happening around them, not something they control. This fireside session explores what happens when a leadership team decides to take that seriously and act. James, Managing Partner at Dean Wilson, will share how he has driven AI from the top of the business. Moving it from something unclear and uncertain at leadership level to a strategic priority being built into how the firm operates. Alongside him, Geoff, who has led the build of their AI capability, will bring the practical perspective. Designing and deploying AI agents inside the business, and now shaping how those capabilities become client-facing. Together, they will unpack what it really takes to move from awareness to action. What worked, what didn’t, and how quickly things start to shift once you commit. This is about the pivot. The point where AI stops being a risk to manage and becomes a capability to build. A practical, real-time view of how a services business adapts when the pace of change leaves no room to stand still.
